BP, one of the world’s leading fuel providers, operates more than 7000 retail fuel stations across the United States. BP partnered with Second To None to monitor signage compliance for a new credit card rewards program launching in select markets.
Auditors parked upon arrival and discretely photographed each pump to confirm whether required signs were displayed. Auditors counted the total number of pumps where any signage was missing, then walked into the station to make a purchase and look for the signage required to be on display at the register. Employee knowledge of the program was assessed during the purchase transaction.
BP gained clear visibility to signage compliance they could quickly act on to ensure the investment in the new program was properly marketed and able to reach the maximum number of potential customers.
